The company was the highest place private sector company in this year’s Northern Ireland Quality Awards, which were held at a ceremony in Belfast’s Ramada Hotel. The Awards are organised by the Centre for Competitiveness (CforC) and use the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model to measure the achievements of leading public, private and voluntary sector organisations.

Equiniti ICS, which has 300 staff based in Belfast, Newbury and Chennai, is fast becoming one of Ireland’s leading business production outsourcing and IT service providers. The company delivers expert services including human resources and employee services, electronic information and document management, finance and accounts, business process outsourcing and IT services.

Equiniti ICS Director, Mervyn Erskine said: "This award is a tribute to our quality standards and to the efforts of all our staff over the past number of years. It adds to our previous accreditations including ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 and Investors in People.
