Silver Surfer Success

Equiniti ICS staff took to their local libraries on Friday, 15th May 09 to encourage older people to try out computers and the Internet. Silver Surfers Day is growing year on year and attracted over 1,500 silver surfers to attend the event on Friday. Eddie Wright from Bangor was mentored by Ashleigh Stanfield from Equiniti ICS. He was delighted with the overall experience and said, "Ashleigh took the whole topic very gently and made no assumptions of any previous knowledge I might have. Therefore I was not nervous or scared of the session. She was an excellent teacher. The Internet is the way forward and I'd like to be part of it."

Equiniti ICS will be taking part in other events with Business in the Community in the near future. Look out for forthcoming opportunities.
